INDUSTRIAL Technology Research Institute, a research institute in Taiwan, is collaborating with Pacific-green Integrated Technology Inc. to promote the potential of a seaweed industry in the CNMI. Representatives from ITRI Accompanied by PITI vice president Bang Chen conducted an initial feasibility study on Sunday, Oct. 9.

The scope of work of this project is to design and install sixteen (16) wind turbines, two hundred fifty (250 P x 280 Watts) solar panels, and all required connection equipment at eleven (11) schools in the CNMI. The schools are as follows:
